How can you show leadership?

Becoming a leader isn't as easy as most people think it is. It takes a lot of thought, responsibility, and encouragement, and the ability to get along with others. Doing what you think is right may not be the correct way to approach a situation. showing leadership is everywhere. At home, in a class room, on a sport team, and at work. I found a really helpful website on qualities of a leader. Ways you can be a leader a your house doesn't take much, for instance, help out after dinner, put away the dishes, be nice and respectful to your elders and help them out with anything they ask and make sure not to give them a hard time. A leader with vision has a clear, vivid picture of where to go, as well as a firm grasp on what success looks like and how to achieve it. But it’s not enough to have a vision; leaders must also share it and act upon it. Dedication means spending whatever time or energy is necessary to accomplish the task at hand. A leader inspires dedication by example, doing whatever it takes to complete the next step toward the vision. By setting an excellent example, leaders can show followers that there are no nine-to-five jobs on the team, only opportunities to achieve something great. Humility, there is no better than worse on a sport team. A leader is willing to step up, and help everyone achieve greatness and reach that vision. Openness means being able to listen to new ideas, even if they do not conform to the usual way of thinking. Good leaders are able to suspend judgment while listening to others’ ideas, as well as accept new ways of doing things that someone else thought of. as you can see it doesn't take much. It's all inside you and if you have what its willing to take to get there.
